The Byte Package:
The Byte is complete and ready to sail and comes with a Aluminium two piece Mast for easy traveling with a alloy boom, the sail is a high quality Dacron material and has a zip luff also to ensure even in windy conditions it is east to put up the sail. All the sail controls are supplied ,metal bailers are provided , padded toe straps, together with all the foils and a Seasure rudder stock and tiller.With the hull weight of only 45kg this boat is ideal for lightweight sailors 48kg to 70kg and a great youth boat. The boat is complete and ready to sail and comes with a 4 year guarantee.

From the first day Mark and I saw the Byte C1 and C2 we knew it was the same designer as the Laser designer, we were also aware that the Laser is a very difficult boat to right for a light weight sailor when capsized. That made the decision to build the Byte a must as we wanted a Race boat for sailors between 48kg-70,

We have sold and continue to sell many C1 and C11 Bytes. The unique Hull shape is ideal, this well-balanced boat handles well on the sea especially in windy conditions and in big seas with large waves. The knowledge that the Byte Hull weight is only 45kg much lighter than the Laser and easier to right for those lighter helms, gives new sailors so much more confidence when at sea a massive advantage for beginners and the less experienced sailors.

The recently introduced new Square top Laminate racing sail, opens the leech, fends off in big winds and being so easy to set to ensure you get the best from your C1 and C11, this development has been a great help and very successful.

But it was always our intention to bring back the standard Byte which is ideal and suitable for all ages as well as being a great youth boat.
